51Talk organises a joyful homemade pizza workshop with renowned pizza brand US Pizza, which was praised by mothers!
On 29 April 2023, 51Talk Malaysia held its first delightful and memorable pizza workshop at US Pizza on Mother’s Day. Thank you very much for the great turnout and the event was appreciated by a lot of parents! It was a wonderful opportunity for parents and children to make their own delicious pizzas, experience the fun of cooking and the satisfaction of good food, and at the same time, let the children speak English.
In this Pizza workshop, parents and children explore the mysteries of pizza with our professional pizza chefs. They are also keen to share their skills, knowledge and one-of-a-kind recipes on the various steps and secrets of pizza making.
Most of the parents who attended the workshop were satisfied with the programme and found it to be a meaningful and fun activity that is perfect for children aged 3 to 15. Mandy Tan, one of the mothers who attended the workshop, said, “this activity which organized by 51Talk is very meaningful. The children are very interested and curious about making food, and in the process of learning how to make pizza, the teacher taught them a lot of English phrases about food and cooking, so they found it very interesting to learn English in this way. They found it very interesting, not boring, and did not need to learn by rote, so it was great.”
Another parent also said, “Through this workshop, they can interact with other children, try different things and experience different experiences. The children were very happy and it was a precious and unforgettable experience.”
We believe that through this kind of activities, children can be more confident in using English and at the same time have a better understanding and appreciation of other countries’ cultures.
